Our Background
The Tennessee Energy Acquisition Corporation is an energy acquisition corporation and a public instrumentality of its Associated Municipalities and the State of Tennessee created in March 1996 by actions of the Cities of Clarksville, Tennessee and Springfield, Tennessee pursuant to an act of the Tennessee State Legislature for the purpose of obtaining dependable and economical supplies of natural gas for the benefit of its Associated Municipalities.
Associated Municipalities and Project Participants systems are located on the pipeline facilities of ten interstate pipelines.
Our Goal
The goal of Tennessee Energy Acquisition Corporation is to optimize public ownership and to provide the most economical and reliable supplies of energy available in the industry.
Services
The Tennessee Energy Acquisition Corporation acquires, manages, and finances supplies of natural gas for sale to its Associated Municipalities and Project Participants, and offers comprehensive natural gas supply, pipeline transportation and storage management services to its Associated Municipalities.
